Condition, Used – Good, the book has been re-backed at some time, the cover shows signs of age but is in good condition. Apart from library stamps (Grimsby Public Library) and occasional fine notes in the margins, the text-block is clean and free of foxing.

A rare treatise concerning the religious symbolism of colour written in 1837. It was published in English as a limited edition of 100 copies in 1845. This is a truly important work with many references scarcely known today concerning the symbolism of colour.
