Henry Doré’s study on Chinese Superstitions, Chinese Pantheon and Chinese religions, were published in Variétés Sinologiques between 1911-1938. Each volume being issued separately of which this is volume V of the First Part issued in 1922 (which deals with the Superstitious Practices of ancient China).  All books were published in T’usewei, the printing facilities for the Jesuits in Shanghai.
