The Problem of Pain by C. S. Lewis

Publisher, The Centenary Press, London, 1943, pp. 147 including index.
Hardback with dust-jacket. Bound in black book-cloth with title label on spine.
Condition, Used – Very Good, the cover is clean and tidy, the dust-jacket shows a little shelf-life but is in a very good state of repair, the text block is tight and free from notes and highlights. The end-papers do show a little foxing.

The author gets straight to the point, written in a time of war, of suffering, of grief, loss and above all of pain, every word was immediate, personal and intimate; it is still relevant today!
